When you enter a shopping mall, you probably see a variety of kiosks and stands that offer a variety of foods. You can join the group of business owners who serve these items to customers by opening your own food court kiosk. One of the ideas to consider is coffee. There are numerous types of coffee that you can serve that are often received well by many shoppers, especially if they plan on staying at the mall for a long period of time during the day. Offer special blends in the fall and winter that are soothing for those who shop in the cold weather as well as blends that are a bit lighter in the spring and summer.
Another idea is juice. This is a beverage that you don’t see a lot of from food kiosks in malls. Try to offer natural juices without a lot of additives. However, if this isn’t an option, then serve juices that are as healthy as possible. Make sure the juices that are served are in the proper containers, asking customers whether they would like the beverage in a cup with a lid or in a different kind of container so that the juice isn’t spilled.
If you want to get a little extravagant with the items that you sell, then consider food gift baskets. You can take orders from customers and have them ready when the customers leave the mall or take orders and arrange for customers to pick them up on a different day. Showcase a few baskets so that customers know what you can include in them. Try to offer items that can be kept for a few days instead of those that are perishable so that customers can give them to friends and family for special occasions without worrying about a time limit as to when the basket needs to be given.
